DAMN IT ! I AM SO TOTALLY OVER MONK! All it is promise after promise
that the show is going to get good again BUT IT NEVER DOES. Every
other time Dale has been in an episode, I've cried because Tony
Shalhoub's acting was so amazing. The acting was just as good this
time, but the feel wasn't there. The music was wrong. The dialogue
was wrong. Tony was still good, but they just didn't give him the
things to say. It just wasn't Monk. I don't want to stop watching the
show. But I wish the show would stop dragging the audience along like
this. IT's just dissapointing

I totally agree with you, it just doesn't seem like monk anymore, but more like some sort of soap opera uggh!
@JesusOfWatford - It's like...they've realized the show took a dive in the third season...but they just HAVE to keep it going. SO every 30, 40 episodes or so, they'll remind us that Monk had a wife that was murdered, and Monk will find a link in a RIDICULOUSLY long chain explaining who killed her.
@bono212 - i guess they just think the plot works, sort of like in films, just over a longer duration.
Come to think of it, monk does look like rambo with a perm, maybe they'll turn him into an ex- vietcong soldier and he'll shoot his way to the killer.
He'd be picking up the shells of the bullets... But still, the plot sticks and shows.
Maybe it's my imagination, i dunno, it's plausible...
@JesusOfWatford - Now that I know that Monk has randomly been keeping a gun in his closet all these years...I have to believe anything is possible
