    Badlands

Man, ever since the Springsteen concert, I can not get this song out of my head.  And why not?  It has EXCELLENT lyrics.  Read them please, I bolded what I thought was the best:

Lights out tonight trouble in the heartland
Got a head-on collision smashin' in my guts man
    I'm caught in a crossfire that I don't understand
But there's one thing I know for sure I don't give a damn
For the same old played out scenes I don't give a damn
For just the in-betweens honey I want the heart I want the soul
I want control right now talk about a dream
Try to make it real you wake up in the night
With a fear so real spend your life waiting
For a moment that just don't come
Well don't waste your time waiting

    *Chorus*
Badlands you gotta live it every day
    Let the broken hearts stand
As the price you've gotta pay
We'll keep pushin' till it's understood
And these badlands start treating us good

Workin' in the field till you get your back burned
Workin' `neath the wheels till you get your facts learned
Baby I got my facts learned real good right now
You better get it straight darling
Poor man wanna be rich, rich man wanna be king
And a king ain't satisfied till he rules everything
I wanna go out tonight, I wanna find out what I got
Now I believe in the love that you gave me
I believe in the faith that could save me
I believe in the hope and I pray that some day
It will raise me above these

    *Chorus

For the ones who had a notion, a notion deep inside
That it ain't no sin to be glad you're alive
I wanna find one face that ain't looking through me
I wanna find one place, I wanna spit in the face of these

    *Chorus

    Good no?

Jesus, that Springsteen concert was amazing.  AND! I got to see Jon Bon Jovi.  How cool?  Well, if you like Bon Jovi anyways XD

    The Election

You know.  This is the first time I'm going to get to vote in an election.  And also the first time I've cared so very much about what results from the upcoming primaries.  If it's not obvious by now, I'm a huge Hillary Clinton supporter...and I actually have volunteered to help with her campaign.  I am pretty freakin' excited about the last weekend, I gotta say.  But anyways...there is a link involved in this, that I don't really inspect anything out of but...

    www.hillaryclinton.com/contribute/SCRX

If you wanna donate to her campaign.  Click clickity click.  You don't have to give ridiculous amounts of money, I just contributed ten.  But it felt good to feel a part of something, even if it's only a tiny little bit.

    QUESTIONS!

@Bono:  What is a dry kind of love?

@ Link:  How do you walk into THIS building

And end up in this giant room?

IT'S BIGGER THAN THE DOORWAY!!!!! I DONT' UNDERSTAND!

@ Quiznos:  Why did you make a deal with Satan?  AKA Donald Trump?  BUT I CAN SAY NO MORE!

@ The United States:  Why do you forbid ADULTS from purchasing alcohol?  I'm 20......EXPLAIN!

@ Bono again:  IF the air were as heavy as a truck...wouldn't we all be pretty dead?

    Until next time:

    Monk

DAMN IT !  I AM SO TOTALLY OVER MONK!  All it is promise after promise that the show is going to get good again BUT IT NEVER DOES.  Every other time Dale has been in an episode, I've cried because Tony Shalhoub's acting was so amazing.  The acting was just as good this time, but the feel wasn't there.  The music was wrong.  The dialogue was wrong.  Tony was still good, but they just didn't give him the things to say.  It just wasn't Monk.  I don't want to stop watching the show.  But I wish the show would stop dragging the audience along like this.  IT's just dissapointing

About Me

  • Geez, I hate answering this question. Well I love movies, music, and video games, but I have a life. I'm in marching band and I work at the wonderful, fabulous Quiznos Sub est. (just in case the higherups are watching)
